Today we're going to begin unit 5! In this unit we're going to revise past tenses. But first let's learn some vocabulary. Let's go to page 157 in the Student's Book

b- Now listen to part 2. Complete the sentences with ONE to THREE WORDS:


GRAMMAR:
a- Go to page 47 in the SB and read the text "Taking a short cut". The highlighted expressions show verbs in different past forms. Do you remember which are they?... Yes...Past simple, Past continuous and Past Perfect.

In the video you could see that the past tenses are also called "narrative tenses" because they are used to tell or to write stories. We are going to focus on past perfect continuos later this year. Let's read some theory:
